Content of the agreement are cooperations regarding the hospitality programme and the opening ceremony of the Chess Olympiad, 12 November 2008 at the Freiberger Arena. During the Olympiad the exclusive jubilee show with international artists and a gourmet menu will be performing from 12 to 15 November and from 20 to 22 November at the well-known location across the “Transparent VW Factory”.
The bar was set high by Sarrasani himself: within four playing seasons the magician André Sarrasani enchanted more than 130 000 spectators in a fascinating mixture of dinner and varieté. During the jubilee season he will captivate his audience with sensual and spectacular performances. International artists, acrobats and comedians will make their appearance on the Trocadero stage.

André Sarrasani will present new illusions in which his tiger „Khan“ will play an important role, too: „For this season we have come up with a very spezial show concept and will offer a lot of Extras to our guests. After all, they are the ones we owe it to them that this dinner show at the Trocadero can celebrate its fifth anniversary this year.“ Especially on the occasion of this anniversary gourmet cook Gerd Kastenmeier has created a new four-course menu.

Another new feature is the name-add on of the theater: from now, the Sarrasani Trocadero will bear the subtitel Dinner-Variétheater Dresden. „Thus, we have optimized our show. Even stronger than the old name, Trocadero Sarrasani Theater Dresden, it expresses the combination of diverse performances and excellent gourmet culture on an extraordinary level“ explains the Sarrasani boss.
The Sarrasani Trocadero is open from 23 October 2008 to 28 November 2009, situated at the Straßburger Platz in Dresden. Shows are on Wednesdays and Sundays at 7:30 pm. Sundays, Sarrasani also invites for a extensive brunch buffet from 11 am to 2 pm, including show.

Tickets for the dinner show with four course menue are available starting at 59,- Euro. For family brunch adults pay 39,- children 22,- Euro. The New Year’s Eve special can be obtained for 115,- Euro.
