 „Official book of the Chess Olympiad Dresden 2008"
The German Chess Association and the Organizing Committee of the Chess Olympiad agreed with the Dresden JugendSchach (Youth Chess) publishing house the publication of the “Official book of the Chess Olympiad Dresden 2008”. In addition, a DVD with extensive and interesting details of the tournament will be released together with the book. Licence holder will be the Schacholympiade 2008 - Chess Foundation GmbH. These news are expected to cause great pleasure in the German-speaking areas, since the last Olympiad book in German language came out in Manila 1992. The book will be sold at the Olympiad venue and can also be ordered afterwards for as little as 24,90 Euro.
